Difference in life of an engineering student & design student!

I had to wait a little extra to become a sophomore. I finally became one this year.
Leaving engineering after completing an year [almost] was a big step and the turning point of my life. This May, I finished with the first year of my college in design field.

We human are bond with some common traditions. Comparison is one of them. So, am gonna compare the difference in an engineering and design students life based on MY experience. I hope none of you would mind if my opinion doesn't match with yours.

My 10 months stay in an engineering college was enough to tell me how it works in there.
The only thing matters to an Engineering student [ES] is ATTENDANCE! They're more worried about their attendance than marks. ES complete their practical files at the very last moment by copying it from their pals. They can write a same practical 10 times to make their practical file look complete :D You can start and finish your syllabus a night before the exam. You just need to sit with a book and pen on your bed, after all, who practices numerical these days? :P

They hate to go to college. Learning Alpha, Beta, Gamma makes them sleep with their eyes open.
They don't know what's happening in class but they know everything about software, games and possess a huge collection of movies or sitcoms which is the main cause of sleepless nights.

On the other hand, the reason behind all the sleepless nights and tension for a design student is SUBMISSION. Trust me, they piss the hell out of us. They sometimes make you forget that you're alive.
For a design student [DS], copying something is a crime equivalent to murder. You just can't copy anything from your friend, Google or any other designer. Inspiration is the word similar to copying in our field if you know what i mean :P

One night is enough for an ES to finish with their work/studies but DS just can't brainstorm, group and design something overnight -_-
We enjoy classes but the workload we get is harder to handle. Research work is something which never stops neither the presentations.

Last but not the least, the girl boy ratio is extremely low ; It gets harder to find a girlfriend when you're a ES whereas a guy in a design college has many options in hand, he can change his girlfriend weekly till the time he graduates :P Paradox right. And this the reason you'll find design college girls cribbing about being single many a times :D

I think attendance is one things which matters the most to both the categories.

Engineers have brains and designers have creativity.
Both of them combined, make a better place to live.
