Book Vs People

Why are books better than people?
Ever wondered.?

1. They give you knowledge and information not gossip.
2. They don't make you wait, if you wanna read it you just have to open the damn page. Not vice versa.
3. Books contain a whole new world which helps you to work on yours.
4. People expect things from you unlike a book.
5. The reading process is a process of healing, peacefulness and self realizations. It's better than talking to people who can only give you negative vibes.
6. Books never argue back.
7. They don't leave you when you need them the most like humans do.
8. They stay. You can always go back to your mini library and pick up any book you want to read again.
9. A book is capable of taking you to a place you haven't even dream of.
10. Reading is the best way to escape reality. And humans are the reality we try to escape from.

Hence, books are no wonder better than us. So don't let technology, people or anything come between you and your habit of reading. The one who reads has the vision.
So read something this weekend.

What will happen if you turn off your data after 9pm?

Have you thought about what would happen if you turn off your data/wifi after 9pm? Haven't thought about it right? Here, I am gonna tell you what will happen.

You'll miss a lot of memes and trolls. You won't be able to like or share these important memes on Facebook or Instagram. Sad, if your friend shares that hilarious one before you do.
You will get away with a lot of Whats up? situation. Like how everyone on earth wants to know what is up with you, when the only thing up in your life is WhatsApp.
You won't be there to help your desperate single friend who texts you every night at 11 and whines about being single. Also, who's gonna take care of that drunken friend who wants to text his ex, if you sleep.
Imagine if you don't have your phone, what time are you likely to sleep? 9? Max 11.
And if you sleep early, you'll get up early.
You'll get up more fresh. Alarm won't be needed to wake u up as our body gets up automatically* after 8 hours of goodnight sleep.
You'll get your beauty sleep. But your favourite eye makeup, your dark-circles will be gone.
But whose gonna sugar talk with your baby if you sleep early?
Guess what they'll find someone else (an insomniac maybe).
You'll feel active for a change. And that energy can be used in exercising or in a simple morning walk. No it's fine if you love your chubbiness. Never mind.
Talking about perks. You'll get extra 3-4 hours. Maybe you can use them to like or to share posts which you missed last night. You can also read something useful, only if you like.
It can make the laziest of the laziest blogger (like me) to write something after a year. What else can i say.

Automatically* not applicable for lazy people who get up early in the morning and sleep again. (Point 5)

The Devil Inside

2015 is here. And i know all of you must be thinking to make this New Year count. To do something new, different which you haven't done before. This blogpost may help you a little.
We all fight with the demons inside us everyday. It's not some spirit or ghost. It's the negativity. It's the anger. It's hatred. It's jealousy. It's the bitterness. It's all those feelings which don't let the Real You come out.

The devil doesn't come out of blue. It's always there deep inside you.. it only comes out when you feed it with too much of negative thoughts.
It gets stronger when you act pessimistic, when the feeling of hatred is more than affection.
It starts to control you with every negative thought.

And when the bad feelings overpower the good ones, the devil takes charge of your whole mind and soul.

Everyone of us is innocent and sensitive in our own way. We are human. We can't control our feelings and emotions towards other beings, We have the right to hate or to get jealous but up to a certain limit. And what's the maximum limit? You should know that you're beyond limit when the other person gets hurt because of your attitudes and gestures. You should know that the Devil is taking charge of your emotions.

The transition stage when you fight with yourself to control the devil.

Because you know that you are not one of those who will feel bad seeing somebody else happy. Because you know it's not you who's not happy with your friend's success. It's not you. It's jealousy. I know you want to be happy for your friend but you can't because the Devil is fed with jealousy.

You know that a single text of yours can make your relationship work again but still you don't text. And you let go of a beautiful relationship you've been in, since years. Do you know why?
Ego, my friends. It's ego which doesn't let you apologize. It's ego which is coming in between your decade long friendship and other relationships. And the thing is not that you don't know. You know it but you're helpless because you have made the Devil stronger by feeding it with your Ego.

You love your mom/spouse the most. But still you scream at her/them when you're angry even if its not their fault. And you know you're wrong and you know that you shouldn't. You feel bad about it but that's not an assurance that you won't repeat it ever. Do you know why? Because the Devil inside you is uncontrollable. He gets stronger with every ounce of anger you possess for people. And someday it takes over you in the form of lousy fights and scuffles, which results in hurting people you love the most.

Hatred, frustration, hopelessness and many other negative feelings make this Devil powerful. Henceforth it gets the energy to fight with the Real You.. And eventually is takes over you.

Can it be controlled?
Of course it can. Feelings like love, affection, care etc which make you feel good have the ability to control the Devil. Positive thoughts make you stronger by building up your confidence. Hence, you feel better about yourself leaving the devil behind. Let's all kill the Devil together this year ;)

21 Traits of a Perfect Boyfriend

I am not a love guru or a relationship counselor, am just one of you with a more than average observance. Many of my friends are in relationships and many of them are single. I have tried to keep both the categories in mind while writing this. The things listed below are the qualities which we think make a boyfriend perfect [because perfect is not a myth].

The first 5 qualities are fundamental and conventional. I know you're tired of reading/listening to it but these are as important as oxygen or water.

1. Brain

The most basic thing you need in a guy is brain. If he's hot and lack of intelligence, sorry it's not gonna last. Himbo comes with an expiry date. You'll be tired of their cute faces and hot bodies because they no longer make sense.

2. Smartness

He might be the topper of his class but what if he can't handle situation when he's supposed to. What if he can't take a right decision at the right time. He need not to be a geek but smart enough to handle things.

3. Understanding

Without understanding you're relationship gonna fall apart, no matter how close you guys are. If he doesn't understand that you're not okay when you say fine, if he doesn't know what does your whatever means. You gonna have a hard time.

4. Loving

You know he loves you but what he doesn't express how he feels about you. It's the small gestures he make to make you happy. It could be some lovey-dovey text messages, surprises, voice notes when you're least prepared for it. Girls crave for love. Your relationship is never too old to show your love for her.

5. Caring

Love is incomplete without care. He should care for you like a baby. His care shows how much you mean to him. You wouldn't want to spend your life with a person who doesn't care when you're down with fever or feeling low.

6. Should make you feel special

He chooses you over zillions of people. That proves that you've something special in you. So why not showing it off once in a while. It's not as if we don't know that we're special but it feels ecstasy when you know that you're the apple oh his eye.

7. Humor

We have a soft corner for guys who make us laugh. Wouldn't it be awesome to spend your life with a person who cracks silly jokes just to make you laugh. I am not being a grandma but laughter is really a good therapy.

8. Best Friend

I know people these days start dating over a blind date, some weird apps, via and via some pals, through social networking sites. Personally, i don't think that's the right way. You can't get to know a person over a mere date. No wonder why relationships these days don't work out. You need to be friends first. Spend time on knowing each other better. Nothing's better than dating your best friend because he knows you for what you are not what you pretend to be.

9. A good Human

You can't be a good friend if you aren't a good human. You can't be good enough for anything unless you are a good human. You need to be good human being to be a good spouse.

10. A good listener
Yeah we talk a lot. Stupid unnecessary talks. Just because we know that you'd love to listen to our bullshit.

11. Expressive

I've seen guys who have so much inside them but they can't express it. We love to hear from you. We expect you to talk non-stoppable just like we do. Girls love guys who talk their heart out with them.

12. Inspiring

We all have those rough days when we don't want to do anything. The days when we just hate our lives and want to leave everything behind. In today's world of competition we need someone to inspire us. To motivate us and to make us believe that the best is yet to come.

13. Should share at least 2 hobbies with you

What if you're an outgoing person and he loves being a couch potato. What if you love reading and he's all into Metallica. Hard to conjure right? Wouldn't it amazing if you both share some of your hobbies. You explore new places together. You both suggest each other good reads. Splendid that'd be.

14. Personality Chameleon

Girls have the ability to change their mood, their thoughts change within a second. One moment they would fight with you over a silly issue and the very next moment they'd want you to come over because they miss you. You should be fast enough to forget what she said before and try to grasp what's going on now. Sounds weird but you'll learn this with time.

15. Should be a fan of your favorite sitcoms

He should understand what you want him to do, when you say seven seven seven seven [in Monica's tone]. He should know how to deal with your Dark Passenger. It's not Westeros and Pentos, neither you're Jon Snow. You need to know everything unlike him. Nothing is more depressing than your cold reaction when she calls you her Lobster.

16. A Family guy

We love our family more than anything else. We expect you to love and consider our family just like yours.

17. Should be friends with at least one of your girlfriend

He's supposed to be friends with at least one of your girlfriend not just to plan surprise party for you but also to know what's going wrong between you two. He might not like your guy friends and vice versa. So why not make him friends with your favorite girl.

18. A Planner
You wouldn't want to spoil your weekend just because you don't have any plan. Usually girls are supposed to do the plannings, why not you plan something for her, for a change?

19. A good Son
A guy who's a great son and cares about his parents is likely to be a better lover. The guy who doesn't respect his parents can never respect you. The bitter truth.

20. Strength
No..we don't want Salmaan Khan. We just want a guy who can protect us from a bad crowd, nobody could stare when you walk with him. A guy who makes you feel safe and secure in this bad times.

21. He should love you from the core of his heart

The above 20 things might not make sense but the most important thing you need, to make it work, is Unconditional Love. Trust me she wouldn't mind if you don't have any of the above qualities as long as you love her madly. We crave for love, love can make us forgive and forget stuff.

If you truly love her these above things wouldn't sound weird and you'll understand everything spontaneously.
